History of the Band
Jon Carlo and The Family Business started in 2008 with Dennis, Jongo and Andrew. They were a few cousins having fun, playing music, and living life together and would have no idea of the road they would embark upon. Learning to come together as a band, they wrote a collection of twelve songs which were called “The Good of Man”. They played their first show in Big Bear California at a bar called Diamond Lil’s.
Around 2009, Tom Tom joined the band as the new drummer. Jon Carlo and The Family Business began to spread their music in the High Desert of Southern California, playing their music anywhere it would be heard. They played for their own friends and family as much as possible. They played bars frequently. They played for charities and battle of the bands.
Losing their drummer Tom Tom, Dennis and Jongo would go on to create their next two albums titled “Never Ending Peace” and “Three Suns” from 2010-2012.
In the winter of 2012, they would encounter an old friend Kyle, who became their new drummer. They continued on playing their greatest music yet. Playing at house parties, a ranch in Anza several times, barns and warehouses.
Now it is 2014 and Jon Carlo and The Family Business are working on new songs with a surprise element added to the band..
